This book is in Swedish, a present from my dear friend Petra. It's a collection of short texts in a diary type of way. She had received pretty good reviews but quite frankly I don't understand what the fuss is all about?*** I originally posted my book list on a different site and when I decided to move it all over to this one I copied and pasted it all. I couldn't even remember that I had read this one, nor can I for my life remember anything from it, more than the chapter where she bought a wardrobe.

A story about a little girl in China around 1820 - 1850 and her life, footbinding, friendship, pain, happiness. Very good book, I cried like a baby through the last chapters.

Very good book, takes time to get in to though. Story is about an extraordinary man who one morning wakes up with frost on his arms. He finds that he changes with the seasons and this together with coming to terms with his background is the base.

"As colourful as tartan, this Highland drama confirms the author as one of the crack storytellers of our time. /She magazine"I can only agree. Ken Follett is easily one of my favourite authors. I only wish he wasn't so detailed in his torture descriptions, he really knows how to describe pain! :-) I wish he'd write a love story!

In short:Once a teacher, Jack St. Bride was destroyed by a student’s crush. Now, working for Addie, he slowly rebuilds his life and Addie finds him fitting easily inside her heart. But a quartet of teenage girls maliciously target Jack with a shattering allegation.*** I love Jodi Picoult's books. Her language is extraordinary and I cannot put her books down. They handle such important and difficult subjects though so usually I can't read them straight after each other, I need a couple of months between them! :-)

When you get to heaven you will finally get answers to all those questions. You will learn something about your own life, about why things happened they way they did and why your life turned out the way it did. A lot of food for thought.

Henry and Clare first met when Henry was 36 and Clare 6. They were married when Henry was 30 and Clare 22. Impossible but true, because Henry suffers from a rare condition where his genetic clock periodically resets and throws him to the future or past.
